Week 1- BALT 4364- Introduction Fall 2025

 Hi, my name is Zaid Irfan. I’m a senior at Benedictine University majoring in Finance. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, soccer, and reading. I decided to take this class because artificial intelligence is evolving rapidly, and I don’t want to miss the opportunity to learn about it. I see this course as the first step in my journey to understanding AI, and I’m excited to take full advantage of what it has to offer.

Learning more about AI will be incredibly valuable for my future goals. I plan to start a business that provides AI automation services, so gaining deeper knowledge in this field will help me deliver the best possible solutions to clients. It will also allow me to stay updated on the latest innovations and how they can be used to improve business operations.

AI and technology can handle routine tasks, freeing up time to focus on more complex and creative work. In marketing and sales, for example, AI can help identify the most effective advertising strategies, integrate customer relationship management systems for direct engagement, and even forecast market trends all of which provide a competitive edge.

Understanding AI also enhances employability. As more industries incorporate AI into their operations, having expertise in this area will make me stand out when applying for internships or full-time positions. The demand for professionals with AI knowledge continues to grow across all business sectors, making this skill set both relevant and valuable for the future.
